Hemel Hempstead TOWN YOUTH FC

To visit the youth section website

Developed from a handful of teams in 1990 by founder Chris Brooks, we are now one of the largest clubs in the area and remain a volunteer-run charity to serve the local community.

Our aim is simple – to provide a friendly, safe and fun environment for boys and girls across Dacorum to play football. We encourage the highest standards of behaviour amongst our players, parents and coaches to maintain the great reputation that has been established over the years.

Each year we work hard to ensure our club retains the status of FA Charter Standard, providing assurance to all Children, their parents and our partners around standards of welfare and safeguarding. Each team has a minimum of one FA Licenced Coach and every adult linked to the teams will have completed the FA Safeguarding course as a minimum.

In 2017 as a result of years of fundraising and planning, HHTYFC commenced use of the FIFA-grade 3G facility at Hemel Hempstead School. Training through the week and mini-soccer games on a Sunday ensures we maximise our use across 38 weeks of the year.

Over 500 boys and girls, aged between 6-17 across our 40 plus teams, pull on the red shirts of Hemel Hempstead Town Youth each weekend. We are proud of our club, grateful to all our volunteer coaches and managers and to those who kindly support through donations and sponsorship.
