Hemel Hempstead Town Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Rio Oudnie-Morgan.

Rio came through the youth system at Ipswich Town where he established himself as a regular feature in the Under 21’s and signed his first professional contract. He also gained valuable experience playing in friendly fixtures and training with the Ipswich Town First Team squad.

Rio had his first taste of senior men’s football when he joined then Isthmian Premier Division side Billericay Town on loan, making ten appearance and scoring two goals. He later moved up a level to the Enterprise National League North, on loan with Kings Lynn Town, making eight appearances. He then gained more men’s football experience on loan with Havant and Waterloo making six appearances and scoring one goal there. Rio left Ipswich Town when his registration ended in mid-2026.

Rio also has international experience representing Northern Ireland working his way up from the U17’s right the way through to the U21’s squad where he bagged his first international goal against Moldova.

Rio is an attacking midfielder known for his creativity, confidence on the ball, and desire to drive past opponents and score goals.
