WELCOME TO THE TUDORS | Mauro Vilhete

Hemel Hempstead Town Football Club are pleased to announce the arrival of versatile midfielder, Mauro Vilhete from fellow National League South side, Hampton & Richmond.

The experienced Portugal-born Sao Tome & Principe international comes to the Tudors with a wealth of football knowledge under his belt - starting his footballing carer at Barnet's U18s and moving up to their Senior Team at just 17 years old. After many seasons with Barnet, going out on loan spells at Hendon and Boreham Wood before moving to Wingate FC in the 20/21 season.

Vilhete was part of the squad that saw then Isthmian Premier Hornchurch FC be promoted to the National League South, after which he moved to Hampton & Richmond where he remained for the entirety of 24/25, bagging 11 goals and 5 assists to his name in the league.

Mauro brings with him experience and reliability at this level and hopes to make an impact on and off the pitch. We cannot wait to see him in Tudor red!
