Hemel Hempstead Town Football Club is delighted to announce the arrival of exciting centre-forward Amir Hadi following his departure from Braintree Town.

The 23-year-old has made his way through the non-league pyramid, previously at Shefford Town, Campton, Biggleswade and St Ives Town. He also made the move to fellow National League South side Farnborough after impressing at the level below.

"Amir Hadi ticks the boxes for us that we were looking for in terms of the type of signings we look to make. Young, hungry, on an upward trajectory and with scope to develop and make that next step. He did well at Step 3, and lower in the pyramid, and has jumped up five divisions in three years. He got that move to the National League during last season, and we feel we can get him kicking on again in his career and moving up the leagues. He is powerful. A good size. He has got a lovely balance you don’t often find in an attacking player in being industrious against the ball, and physically really capable. He can play through the middle, as a #10 or wide off the front. He gives us really good options at the top end of the pitch."
