WELCOME TO THE TUDORS! | Ade Azeez

Hemel Hempstead Town Football are delighted to announce the arrival of forward Ade Azeez.

Formerly of Isthmian League side Billericay, Ade is no stranger to football at this level. Starting his career at Charlton Athletic, Ade played for multiple non-league clubs on loan before making his move up the pyramid to recently promoted AFC Wimbledon. After 2 years with the London club, Ade switched over to the Scottish Premier Football League, joining Glaswegian side Partick Thistle, even scoring against Celtic at their home ground Celtic Park back in 2017.

From then, moves throughout the EFL found him at Cambridge Utd & Newport County before making the leap to Non-League side Torquay on Loan and finally to Dover Athletic and Dartford on respective permanent transfers.

After suffering from an ACL and meniscus tear in 2023, Ade’s road to recovery has been a long one, but he is back fighting fit and ready to show that he’s confident in his skills and the experience he can bring to the pitch.

With his goal scoring abilities being a big part of Welling United’s success in the 22/23 season, we can’t wait to see Ade in a Tudor shirt!
