SUPPORTERS GUIDE | Wigan Athletic (A) FA Cup First Round

And so it begins! The preparation for our FA Cup First Round Proper this weekend has truly begun and we want to fill this week with all things FA CUP! To kick things off, we've got a handy supporters guide for those joining us in Wigan, including programme information, food, drink and where to find your seats and cheer the Tudors into the second round!
These questions and answers were provided to us by Wigan's Liason Officer Jason Taylor, who has kindly put this together for our travelling Tudors!
"We have the Wigan Athletic Museum which we hope will have our FA Cup on display for fans to have photos with, this is located to the rear of the East Stand, all are welcome to visit, entry is free. Also located in that stand is the Family Zone, where HHTFC families are welcome to join in the activities."
Is there parking at the ground for supporters, and if so, is it booked in advance or paid on the day (and how much)?
Away supporters are advised to park in Car Park 1 which is priced at £7 for cars, £13 for minibuses and £24 for coaches. Details are in the attached guide.
Which pubs/bars nearby would you recommend?
There is plenty of places in and around the stadium to have a drink and some food. Numbers permitting, you will have your own Away Fans Bar in the North Stand Marquee serving food and drinks, if numbers do not permit, your fans will be more than welcome in our Supporters Club, located in the South Stand… there are also food and drink stalls around the perimeter, nearby there is the Red Robin Pub, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell,  just 5 minutes walk away. There is also a retail park with Costa Coffee, KFC, Nandos, Burger King and shops less than 10 minutes walk away.
Do you still accept cash inside the stadium?
The Stadium is Cashless, though there are some vendors outside that accept cash e.g. the Match Day Heritage Programme @ £2.
(We are currently working with the Matchday Heritage team who are looking to do an extended print run of these programmes and have them available in the Away stand for us to purchase!)
Is a matchday programme still available?
No but there is Heritage Programme produced for every game. This can be bought at the Heritage Museum in the East Stand or the Official Supporters Club Bar in the South Stand. If there any left after the game, they go on sale via the Supporters Club website, where a digital version is also available Events & Stadium Tours Wigan Athletic Football Supporters Club
Any guidance for fans bringing flags or drums?
Flags without poles are allowed, but must have the relevant safety certificate and must not be positioned over sponsorship boards. 1 Drum is allowed, please email me on jason@wiganathleticslo.co.uk to book in, on a first to book gets it basis.
Do you have a price list for the concourse kiosks?
There is a price list in the fan’s guide attached.
