The Tudors travel to Somerset this Saturday for a 3pm Kick-Off, read about our opponents here:

Taunton Town FC fluctuated between the Southern Leagues and Western Leagues and then in 1981 the club decided it was too difficult financially to stay in the Southern League so they dropped back into the Western League for the 1983-84 season. The Peacocks were successful in the next couple of decades as they won the league five times and came second four times in this period.

It wasn't until the 2001-02 season where they changed division due to the club improving their finances and they were moved to the Southern Football League Division One South & West after the FA readjusted the English football pyramid. In the 2017-18 season Taunton Town managed promotion out of the Southern Football League Division One South & West for the first time in their existence.

The 2021-22 season was where The Peacocks were champions after defeating Farnborough and this meant promotion to the National League South. Taunton now see themselves relegated after a defeat on Thursday night to Weston-Super-Mare. The Tudors come into this game off the back of a defeat at home to Slough Town.
