The Tudors travel to Maidstone for a National league south fixture and you can read about our opponents here:

Formed in 1992 and formerly known as Maidstone Invicta, they entered the 4th division of the Kent County Leagues. Fast forward 10 years and Maidstone were entered into the Kent league where they ended up champions whilst also winning the Kent Cup. Although they won the league a few years back, it wasn't until they won the Kent league in the 2005-2006 season that earnt them a promotion the Isthmian League where they remained until 2015.

In the 2014-2015 season Maidstone gained promotion to the National League South after winning the league. Consecutive promotions were achieved the following season after they won an emphatic promotion final at Stonebridge Park in which they defeated Ebbsfleet United on penalties. Maidstone were relegated three seasons later to the National League South where they remained until they then won the league in the 2021-2022 season but were unable to keep up the momentum as they were relegated in the following season.

In the current season Maidstone United are having a season of high quality both in the league and out of it. They currently sit in 3rd place of the National League South whilst also being on a good run of home form, being unbeaten in their last five at the Gallagher Stadium (3W 2D).

They come into this game of a vital 3-2 win against Torquay United.
