Opposition Focus | Aveley FC (FA Trophy Round Two)

We travel back to Parkside this week to face another round of Aveley FC - previously visiting them back in August for a Monday night football classic which ended in a 1-0 win for the Tudors. Back with a different focus in mind this time however as they battle it out to get through to the next round of the FA Trophy and begin their journey to Wembley! Let's find out a little bit more about Aveley FC.

Founded: 1927

Nickname: The Millers

Stadium: Parkside

Stadium Capacity: 3500

Manager: Danny Scopes

With the Tudors coming off the back of a strong tight game v the league leaders and it ultimately ending in a narrow defeat, they look to gain some confidence back against a team currently sitting in the relegation zone of the national league south.

Aveley coming off the back of a 1-0 win to Boreham Wood at the weekend, they'll be looking to build on their momentum.

Both teams with lots at stake and a trip into the next round and one step closer to the final at Wembley in May of next year!

Here's a small trip down memory lane...

See you tomorrow travelling Tudors! Lets get back to winning ways! 🫡
