The club are delighted to announce that we have appointed Lee Bircham as our new First Team Manager.
Lee will be assisted by former Hemel Hempstead Town Manager, Steve Bateman. The pair had an impressive season at Berkhamsted last season, finishing top of the Southern League before the season was cut short.
On confirming the appointment Chairman Dave Boggins said, "I am delighted that Lee and Steve have joined us. With an impressive ground, a 3G pitch and reduced ticket prices. I cannot wait for the new season to start"
Bircham has an impressive track record as a manager having led Bovingdon to their first ever Herts Senior County league title alongside the success he and Steve had at Berkhamsted. The 43 year old is from Hemel Hempstead and is extremely proud to manager of his home town club.
Lee has also brought in his trusted right hand man, Fred Benning who will assist with a number of first team duties. Scott Daly will take up the role of strength and conditioning coach. Scott has previously held roles at QPR and Oxford United and will be a valuable member of the backroom staff to ensure the players are at peak fitness throughout the season.
Dmitri Kharine will continue in his role at the club as goalkeeping coach, Andy King as Kitman and Dan Finill as Head of Media. Kelly and Natalie will continue to provide the players with the very best medical care as the clubs first team physios.
