Match report by Allan Mitchell
Lee Allinson's Tudors kept up their excellent start to the season, beating Dorking Wanderers at the Focus Community Arena.
Hemel have to face every one of the full time teams in the first nine games but they remain undaunted and continue to impress and improve.
Dorking are a good side and will undoubtably be there or thereabouts come the end of the season. They had a lot of possession throughout the game but were unable to penetrate a determined Hemel backline.

The visitors forced a number of corners in the early stages but they rarely threatened the goal and it was the Tudors who took the lead on 23 minutes when they pressed hard down the left hand side. Samuel Adenola and Miller Mathews-Lewis combined well to open up a gap at the near post, Mathews-Lewis drilled the ball across the face of the six yard box to George Williams who was waiting unmarked and he made no mistake firing home from close range.
Dorking continued to push forward and Alfie Rutherford came close to levelling the scores after 35 minutes when his powerful drive was superbly diverted wide by Michael Johnson’s outstretched foot when it looked to have been heading for the bottom corner.

The second half followed a similar pattern to the first with Dorking enjoying decent amounts of possession without too much penetration whilst the Tudors continued to threaten on the counter.
The corner count continued to stack up for the Wanderers but some excellent defending and goalkeeping continued to keep them at bay.
As the clock started to tick down Dorking came close after Hemel lost the ball on the left, a cross came in and was met by a Dorking forward who saw his effort saved well by Johnson, the ball still looked as though it might sneak across the line but Kyle Ajayi got back and cleared the danger.
The game was finally put to bed in the 87th minute when Hemel added a second goal. Adenola did well down the left, he fed Darion Dowrich who got to the line before laying the ball back to Isiah Noel-Williams who let it run across him before drilling it past Foulkes into the bottom corner.
Hemel saw the remaining minutes out although Jason Prior will feel he should have better with a header that he put straight at Johnson in injury time.

In the final seconds the Tudors were denied a third goal when the officials completely missed that it was a back pass from a Dorking defender that found Noel-Williams, he unselfishly laid it off to Azeez who rounded the keeper and tucked the ball home. The linesman’s flag went up despite the fact that it was a Dorking player that had laid it back.
Tudors boss Lee Allinson was delighted with the result and the performance but was upset that his side were denied a third goal that should clearly been allowed to stand.
So another three points in the bag, up into fourth place and still unbeaten.
