A tough but convincing start to the league against a strong Maidstone side looking to prove a point and get the promotion they missed out on in the playoff final last season. A solid strike in the first 45' from debutant Dejon Golding gave the Stones their lead but the Tudors never lost their faith and an equaliser from Millar Matthews-Lewis in injury time shared the spoils.
