The Tudors travelled to Surrey to face a recently relegated Dorking Wanderers side, who showed their experience by storming into the first half with two clinical finishes.
After a third goal from the stronger side, Hemel FC found their footing a little more with a spectacular long-range finish from new boy Saleem Akanbi. After a challenge in the box that resulted in a Tudor penalty, Joe Iaciofano's composed finish brought the deficit back to just one.
A well-fought 7 minutes of injury time was a little too short for Hemel FC to clinch a much-needed third, ending in their second defeat in 2 this season.
