Carruthers joins Dartford on loan

Hemel Hempstead Town can announce that midfielder Samir Carruthers has joined Dartford on loan until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old joined the Tudors in the middle of the 2020/21 season and formed a key part of Lee Bircham's side until the league was suspended.

The former Aston Villa man agreed to stay on at Vauxhall Road in the summer in what was a big coup for the club.

However, injury and suspension have disrupted Carruthers' season.

Despite this, he has still managed to make 24 appearances in all competitions in which he has provided six assists - only one behind Josh Castiglione overall.
