It’s always difficult to gauge pre-season friendlies and after a decent performance and 6-0 win at Bedford Town it was a 1-0 reverse up in the Midlands against Bromsgrove. Little to report other than a missed penalty early on and a late winner for Sporting. Next up - away to Chesham United Football Club on Tuesday evening for a local Derby before ending the pre-season games at home to National League North runners up Brackley Town at Vauxhall Road on Saturday - kick off 3 pm.
