The club are delighted to announce the signing of versatile forward Alfie Matthews.

Alfie joins on the back of a successful season with Braintree, which has impressed manager Brad Quinton, who looks to further boost his squad for the upcoming season.

Despite only being 21 years old, Alfie has had a variety of experience, playing for both Arsenal and Crystal Palace at youth level as well as more recent spells at Welling and Braintree. A player who brings a lot of promise to the squad next season, is more than comfortable in multiple positions across the frontline, playing the majority of last season at Braintree as an attacking midfielder as he went on to get 12 Goals and 12 Assists in all competitions, helping his former side into a Playoff position.
