HEMEL HEMPSTEAD TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB IS DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THE ARRIVAL OF EXPERIENCED CENTRE-BACK DAVID LONGE-KING, FOLLOWING HIS DEPARTURE FROM HAMPTON & RICHMOND BOROUGH.
A well-known face in non-league, David climbed the ranks through the pyramids, with stints at Biggleswade and St Albans City, before getting a move to Newport County in 2020. His first professional contract at that level. After a move to Grimsby Town and subsequent loans, David joined then National League side Dagenham & Redbridge for two years.
David is known for stepping up in big matches, with a call-up to the England National Team C in 2019 and appearing for Newport County in the FA Cup Third Round against Premier League opponents Brighton & Hove Albion.
