From a poor 1st half to a second half thriller, the BLUES send out a message to the league leaders.
Two first half wind assisted goals from the Wood gave us a mountain to climb, but the BLUES battled on to pull a goal back on 7 minutes and level the scores on 17 minutes to come in at half time sharing the points.
With SAM WESTON in commanding form playing in his new position in midfield he battled for every loose ball forming a great partnership with our captain EREN.
It seemed that our keeper DREW was going to be at his best as the WOOD delivered high balls over our defence, but conceding two goals in these conditions was going to happen . Nothing our defence could do as the bottom team didn't really put us in any danger in playing football.
It was all our boy's who battled and were playing the passing game as much as we could.
With RYAN enjoying his space on the right it was only a matter of time before his crosses would connect to one of our forwards.
Not a lot of good football was being played in the first 40 minutes, but what was about to happen in the second half was a formality for the boy's in Red.
In training last Friday we practiced our shooting and it seemed to do the trick on this occasion. For what was about to follow was truly remarkable and a credit to our goal scorers.

The second half gets under way and it's first blood to the BLUES. 3-2 with a stunning goal from RYAN from outside the box.
The BLUES were now turning the screw with great wing play and awesome strikes on goal which the small Wood keeper given no chance.
second was the goal of the afternoon as again our match winner RYAN creating and scoring. A masterful one-two with BILLY sees the midfielder cut inside to unleash an unstoppable strike past the keeper. Game over really, but he wasn't finished yet.
TOM then gets in a great tackle to send the ball over the Woods defence. The high cross being met that Mitch who rose the highest to send a looping header over the keeper and over the line. OHENE smashes home , but the goal goes to Mitch as it just crosses the line. 4-2 up and cruising.
A fifth ten minutes from the end and a sixth to follow wraps it up for our second win in succession and climb the table.
An away match to follow next Sunday at Evergreen. Keep it up lads.
