Watford FC kindly donated their facilities to Spencer McCall in order to allow Spencer to play a charity game on the renowned Vicarage Road pitch in his quest to raise money for Cancer Research UK, Sarcoma and Spencer himself.
The game was played between a team representing Hemel Hempstead Town F.C, made up of past and present players and Spencer’s family against a side representing Wingate & Finchley made up of past and present players plus Spencer’s friends. The game was played as 4 x 25 minute quarters with Wingate coming out on top 3-4.
The game was played in a great spirit with everyone including the crowd of more than 500 having fun. The Tudor Army sang their normal range of songs including the now very well recognised ‘Spencer McCall’ adding to the brilliant atmosphere.
HHTFC would sincerely like to thank everyone who attended and took part in support of Spencer!
