Sun 29 Oct 10:30 - League Full time

Oh Dear. Oh Dear, Oh Dear.
What went wrong today.?
Normally I like to start with the positives on a game that had everything. I for one am not allowed to criticize officials so will leave that to the readers to decide on what went wrong.
No matter what decisions went against us this morning it was up to the BLUES to grow up and stop the whimpering of decisions.

An unbelievable move gave the Blues a 2nd minute lead. OHENE playing in our striker to blast home on the volley. Was this the start we wanted.
Would this be the goal to push us up the league and assure us 5th position. Could this be a hat trick of wins ? Not a chance.
Yes; we were without a keeper. No right winger in RYAN. No subs. Even so, what happened to the boy's only they know.
We couldn't have got off to a better start but 6 minutes later we were picking the ball out of net after some sloppy defending and disgraceful marking. Wakey wakey boy's. At 2 am we saw our clocks go back an hour. 8 hours later the boys decided to to go to bed.

It wasn't all bad though. At times we played as a team but with the pulling of shirts going unpunished to our front men we found certain players getting very frustrated. It wasn't easy. As the 1st half went on and the minutes past by I was starting to admire the way Everetts were playing. They wanted to put one over us. They wanted to win. To beat an on form blues side was there desire. I use that word as it was something we lacked. UMAR in goal played to his best ability saving us from a early disaster.
There second goal was very unfortunate for our keeper as from where I was standing I thought he had saved the shot, see the ball nestle into the far corner.
The attitude after this goal went in was shocking to watch. I believe in these boy's, but it's getting the boy's to believe in there own talents.
The one thing I don't want is a coach playing mine and Daren's team something we are trying to to get away from and that's playing short passes. Why you ask. We are a team that strives on our abilities and strengths. We play some delightful football when we use the whole pitch.

We then go on to concede goal number 3 on 23 minutes which was laughable. Not for the Everette striker though who ran his heart out against 4 defenders and with the ball bouncing twice still managed to pull away and put in his shot which found the net. Have we stopped jumping. Have we stopped heading the round thing full of air. Have we stopped passing. Why panic. Things must be said.

I felt sorry for UMAR as he really had nothing in front of him. Our reliable defender and captain PIUCH couldn't even get us going ,
We all found it hard to get any type of football played, No where balls. Misdirected passes. Lack of control. It was all a bit to much for them.
Today I saw a team lacking skills. EREN was getting frustrated. His ability to run at players was one of the good things to watch, but he needs support from his team mates. The unwell MITCH was a spectator on the left wing. No balls from midfield creating runs. I moved him back to help him get into the game but when your ill your ill.
Can we turn this around in the second half kicking down the slope ?
