HEMEL V WOKING PREVIEW

1 month ago By Marc Willmore

The Tudors take on The Cards at Vauxhall Road this Saturday.

The Tudors remain unbeaten so far this season, with two consecutive clean sheets in our last two games. Having won our two opening matches, we followed this up with goalless draws away to Dartford last Saturday and at home to Hungerford on Tuesday night. The Tudors now sit in fourth place in the Vanarama National League South, one place behind Saturday's opponents Woking.

Woking dropped points during midweek for the first time this season, losing 1-0 at Wealdstone on Monday night.

Due to the likelihood of Vauxhall Road hosting a larger than average attendance for our fixture versus Woking on Saturday 18th August 2018, segregation of the supporters will be implemented to assist our staff and stewards ensure the safety and comfort of all fans. Please note, the segregation will be implemented in the same manner as last seasons segregated fixtures - there will be NO access at the Tenzing Road side of the ground. Both sets of supporters will arrive at the ground via Vauxhall Road, then upon arrival at the car park home fans will be directed to the usual turnstiles adjacent to the clubhouse. Away fans will be directed to the top end of the car park to the turnstiles adjacent to the Astroturf training pitches. Stewards will be allocated to the car park area to direct supporters, please assist us in managing the game effectively by complying with the directions and requests stewards and staff both outside and inside the ground.

Inside the ground, Woking fans will be allocated the top end (Adeyfield School end) of the ground which includes the large covered terraced stand; temporary catering and toilet facilities will be installed. Any Woking fans who may require access to disabled or seating areas should engage with a steward upon arrival at Vauxhall Road. Hemel fans will be allocated the three remaining sides of the ground with access to the usual catering, toilet and bar facilities.

Please arrive early to help ease congestion in the local residential streets and at the turnstile. There are likely to be queues in the moments leading up to kick off. Access is via Vauxhall Road only - there is a turnstile on the Tenzing Road side of the ground, however this will not be in use for this fixture.

Admission prices for 2018/19:

  • Adult: £14
  • Concessions: £9
  • Under 18: £5 if unaccompanied by a paying adult
  • Under 18: £1 if accompanied by a paying adult
  • Under 10: FREE

Concessionary price is available for over 65's, students in full-time education and military personnel. Identification will be required. For concessions and Under 18s, the following forms of identifications are acceptable:

Parking
There is a small car park at Vauxhall Road. It fills quickly; Vauxhall Road is a busy residential street and like the car park, the whole area fills up quick. Attempts should be made to park away from the area to ease congestion; if you do park locally then please do so with consideration and respect for our residential neighbours.
